WVKAU, VKAPO flay intimidation

Western VK Area Union Hq. Dimapur (WVKAU) and VK Area Public Organisation (VKAPO) strongly condemned the March 12, 2025 incident at Kheshepu Village under Zunheboto district, where a mob armed with “machete and sledgehammers” destroyed a house and intimated the “innocent and peace loving citizens”.

In a joint press statement, WVKAU president, Kazheto N. Assumi and VKAPO president, Kiyekhu Wokhami said “violence, intimidation and oppression in 21st century is an outdated concept” that will not yield any positive outcome rather can be “counterproductive”.

They therefore appealed to both the parties to iron out the difference through discussion and negotiation. WVKAU and VKAPO also appealed to the district administration and law enforcing agency to take immediate and appropriate action against those people involved in the incident.
