A two-day training programme on “Production Technology of Horticulture Crops in the NEH Region” was held on March 11 and 12, at Mhainamtsi Village Community Hall under Peren district.
The event was organized by the Jalukie Block Farmer’s Producer Organization in collaboration with ICAR-KVK, Peren, and sponsored by the Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema.
During the programme, resource persons from KVK-Peren and the Central Institute of Horticulture covered various topics, including nutrient management in Kharif vegetable crops, scientific cultivation of Kharif vegetables, horticulture-based integrated farming systems, Jalkund (low-cost water harvesting for vegetable cultivation), integrated pest management, and post-harvest management in King Chilli.
