To facilitate and strengthen the Council of Naga Cooperation and Relationship (CNCR), as signed by Naga political groups (NPGs) on January 14, 2025, Naga tribe bodies would formally join as official participants effective from the next meeting.
This was resolved at a meeting of the Naga tribe bodies, NPGs and the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) held on Monday to advance the collective political aspirations of the Naga people.
Fixing the subsequent meeting of the Naga cultural tribe bodies, NPGs and FNR on April 22, the Naga tribe bodies requested the highest leadership of the NPGs to attend this critical gathering.
Aligned with the CNCR, the Naga tribe bodies said full cooperation from all parties was essential and deeply valued. With humility, they appealed every Naga to offer prayers and unwavering support for the shared cause. This was stated in a press release.
