Welcoming the revival of Nagaland Pulp & Paper Corporation Limited (NPPCL) under its new parent company, 3A Capital Services LTD, the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has appealed to the state government to take strict measures to protect NPPCL’s land and ensure that no unauthorized occupation or encroachment hindered the industrial revival efforts.
In a press release, AKM president Lanutoshi Aier and general secretary Satemmongba said that for the smooth and successful execution of the revival process, it was imperative that all land belonging to NPPCL across Mokokchung district and other parts of the state be safeguarded from encroachment.
AKM also urged all stakeholders, including the local communities, to cooperate in restoration of NPPCL, which it said would create employment opportunities, boost economic growth, and benefit the entire region and the state.
AKM said the revival of Tuli paper mill marks a significant milestone in realizing the long-cherished aspiration of the district for industrial rejuvenation and economic progress.
AKM extended support to the state chief minister “as he embark new ventures to revitalize industrial development in Mokokchung district.”
AKM said that the commitment and assurances given by chief minister during his recent visit to Tuli on March 12, 2025, reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to restoring NPPCL’s operations in partnership with 3A Capital Services LTD.
AKM further expressed appreciation to chief minister for his “visionary leadership” in bringing this long-awaited revival to reality. AKM affirmed its commitment to working alongside the government to ensure smooth implementation of revival project.
