The 7th edition of EduFair under the aegis of EduCentre Career Counselling (ECCC) was held on April 15 at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Kohima.

The event was graced by Menukholie Kire, director of Higher Education, as chief guest.
In his brief address, he urged students to select the right university, emphasizing that education was the key to progress. He also advised them to take full advantage of the counselling sessions, as they provide valuable guidance on entrepreneurship and career opportunities.

The EduFair served as a specialized platform aimed at helping students explore higher education options, career growth, and skill development.
This year’s event featured participation from six local colleges, student bodies, and unions, along with 17 out-of-state universities offering counselling services.

Lezo Putsure, CEO of Edu Centre, highlighted that the fair has helped many students in the past with admissions, scholarships, and support for studying abroad. Students can attend the fair for free.

Model Christian College, Kohima Science College, Sazolie College, Kohima College and Alder College participate in the fair. A similar fair will be organized in Dimapur on April 16 at Hotel Acacia.
