NHPS informs on cashless healthcare services

Following temporary disruption in cashless healthcare services under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) and the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), the Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) has informed the beneficiaries that cashless healthcare services under CMHIS and AB PM-JAY continued to be available at all government hospitals within Nagaland, Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), Dimapur and all empanelled hospitals located outside Nagaland under CMHIS and AB PM-JAY.


In a press release, NHPS CEO, Thavaseelan K informed that beneficiaries in need of medical care to consider availing cashless services at the mentioned facilities during this interim period.


NHPS has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and assured all beneficiaries that necessary measures were being taken to resolve the issue with the insurance provider at the earliest.


Beneficiaries have also been encouraged to visit https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in/hospitals to check the list of empanelled government hospitals within the state and all empanelled hospitals outside the state.

NHPS sign MoU for advanced medical care for Nagaland
Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), registered under the State Government of Nagaland, and Sakra World Hospital, Bengaluru, the first 100% FDI hospital of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).


The move has been undertaken to enhance the well-being of accessible medical services for government employees, pensioners, and Indigenous Inhabitants or Permanent Residents of Nagaland under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS-EP).


As an empanelled health care provider (EHCP), Sakra World Hospital would extend its advanced medical care and specialized treatments to the scheme’s beneficiaries. It also marks a significant step towards ensuring quality and affordable healthcare for eligible individuals under CMHIS-EP.
