GPRN/NSCN president ‘Gen.(Retd.)’ MB Neokpao Konyak has declared a “State of Emergency” over all Naga inhabited areas “on account of the abnormal situations and threats faced by the government of GPRN/NSCN (Unification)” with immediate effect till further notice.
In a directive , ‘Gen.(Retd.)’ MB Neokpao Konyak, informed that the declaration was made as per the resolution passed by the High Level Meeting held on April 23, 2025.
‘Gen(Rtd) Neokpao has therefore, directed all Naga Army personnel on sick/casual leave to report to their respective Unit Commanders immediately. All unit commands across Naga inhabited Areas have also been directed to be on high alert.
The GPRN/NSCN (U) president also directed regional authorities under their respective RAOs of all Regions across Naga inhabited Areas, to be vigilant and remain on high alert.
