Nagaland wins 4 medals at Ntl Muaythai C’ship

DIMAPUR, JUN 15 (NPN)

The Nagaland Muaythai team bagged four medals—including two golds—at the 6th National Muaythai Championship held at MDU University, Rohtak, Haryana, from June 9 to 14.
According to the All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association (ANAMA), Aputo and Vihuto Sema clinched gold medals in the 45 kg and 67 kg categories, respectively. Niuka Chophi secured silver in the 57 kg division, while Onendi took home bronze in the 85 kg category. The team, comprising nine athletes, was led by coach Hemavi Ayemi and team manager Pangmie Konyak. ANAMA extended congratulations to all medallists and participants for their spirited performance.
