CSU felicitates MissUniverse Nagaland 2025

Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) hosted a felicitation program on June 21 at East Gate Hotel, Kohima, in honour of Kelülü Dawhuo, who was recently crowned Miss Universe Nagaland 2025. The event was held to celebrate her remarkable achievement and to recognize her as a powerful role model for the youth and women of the Chakhesang community.
Delivering the keynote address, CSU president, Pfhülo Sara spoke about the broader significance of Kelülü’s success, underscoring themes of cultural pride, perseverance, and self-confidence.
He described her as “a beacon of hope and pride for the entire Chakhesang community.” Speaking at the event Miss Dawhuo expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support she received throughout her journey. Her mentor, Pewe Tunyi Khamo, paid tribute to her dedication and strength of character, sharing personal reflections on her growth and determination.
Brief speeches were also delivered by general secretary, beauty and aesthetics society of Nagaland, Lipokzulu Lemtur and president, Chakhesang Mothers’ Association, Zhonelü Tunyi. Among the dignitaries and well-wishers was Miss Nagaland 2024, Anon Konyak, who joined in the celebration of Kelülü’s success.
The program was chaired by general secretary, CSU, Kuzoto Swuro and invocation by executive secretary, CCCRC, Rev. Z. David Koza. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by president, Thenyizumi Students’ Union, Aveto Resüh.
