PHWN elects new team; changes nomenclature

Pochury Hoho Western Nagaland (PHWN), formerly known as Western Pochury Hoho Nagaland (WPHN), has elected new office bearers for the tenure 2025–2027 during its general body meeting held on May 31, 2025 at Chümoukedima Town Council Hall.
Zhitho Nyuthe was elected as president while the vice presidents are Er. Paoseh Pochury, Asumong Pochury, and Rhevitho Nguori along with seven executive members.
The meeting also approved the name change of the organisation from WPHN to PHWN, as recommended by the Constitution Review Committee. All future correspondence will now use the revised nomenclature. An advisory board comprising Er. Chirhotho Rasutho Nyuosou, Er. S Posatho, and Pili was also constituted. Sector representatives are Hopeson Thüvüri (Chümoukedima), Rasangthvu Perry (Dimapur), and Rhetsüsie Joshuo (Toulazouma).
