CM meets Ambassadors of Ireland, UAE and NITI Aayog VC

Nagaland chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday held separate meetings in New Delhi with the Ambassadors of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as well as the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, to discuss avenues of cooperation and support for the development of Nagaland.
In a post on X, Rio said he had met Kevin Kelly, Ambassador of Ireland to India, where both leaders discussed strengthening ties and exploring avenues of mutual cooperation.
Rio also held a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali. Rio termed the exchange as “meaningful and engaging” and expressed optimism about future collaboration for mutual benefit.
Later, Rio, accompanied by deputy chief minister T.R. Zeliang, called on Suman Bery, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog. Rio conveyed his gratitude for the continued guidance and support extended to Nagaland by the central planning body. The meeting reportedly focused on strategies for development and state welfare.
