DLC meeting on JJM at Phek

DIMAPUR

District Level Committee (DLC) for Water and Sanitation held its quarterly meeting on June 23 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Phek, to review the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.
A DIPR report informed that the meeting was chaired by DC and DLC chairman Rhosietho Nguori, who welcomed the members and said such meetings will be conducted regularly to ensure effective implementation.
Executive Engineer PHED, Er. Narisen Jami informed that JJM projects are currently implemented in 91 villages under PHED supervision through the respective WATSAN committees. Around 60% of the works have been completed and certified so far.
Project Director DRDA Phek, Zhoi Lohe, reported that 25 villages under the RD Department have successfully completed their JJM projects.
