Dharti Aaba Abhiyan camps held across Nagaland

Dimapur

Dharti Aaba Abhiyan campaign, a government initiative aimed at creating awareness and ensuring saturation of welfare schemes, was conducted at various locations across Nagaland on June 24.
According to DIPR in Suruhuto Town, Zunheboto district, hosted a two-day awareness camp under the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan on June 23 and 24. The event was carried out by the district administration to sensitise villagers on various government schemes.

NIULAND

At Niuland, the third phase of the campaign was conducted at Kuhoxu Village Ground. The camp included Kuhoxu, Hovishe, Hakhizhe, and Hovukhu villages. EAC Niuland, Vitoka Yepthomi briefed participants about the objectives of the campaign, while departments such as Agriculture, Medical, Horticulture and Veterinary shared details of their schemes. Chairman of Kuhoxu Village Council, Phuhoyi Zhimomi expressed gratitude to the district administration for bringing services to the grassroots.

CHEDEMA VILLAGE

In Chedema Village, Kohima Sadar, a block-level camp under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) was held at the Panchayat Hall. EAC Kohima Sadar, Dr. Riku Khutso, led the camp which featured services like Aadhaar registration, PM-KISAN, Ayushman Bharat, Old Age Pension, Swachh Bharat Mission, PMEGP, MGNREGA and more. Eleven departments participated, offering presentations and on-the-spot registration. EAC (P) Kewimesin Nriame and village leaders also spoke at the event.

MEDZIPHEMA

In Medziphema, the awareness drive was conducted at City Centre with participation from 32 villages. Departments from Medical, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Fisheries, Industries & Commerce, and others provided information on government schemes and distributed free medicines. The event was supervised by ADC Medziphema, P. James Swu, SDO-Civil Tsalemla Sangtam, and EAC Vithwel Kweho.
Across these districts, the campaign focused on doorstep delivery of services, increasing beneficiary coverage, and promoting awareness of central and state welfare schemes.

TUENSANG

In Tuensang, the 4th phase of the awareness and benefit saturation camp was held at Longkhipeh village under Chare block. Organised by EAC Chare, Zerutso, the programme covered seven villages—Longkhipeh, Tongra, Alisopur, Chare, New Chungliyimti, Old Tsadang, and Old Mangakhi—with participation from various government departments, banks and the postal service.
