Power department has informed that there would be an emergency shutdown of 11KV Secretariat and 11KV Thizama feeders along Civil Secretariat Road on June 28, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In a press release, electrical division Kohima executive engineer (E) Shiludi Longkumer informed that shutdown was necessitated to facilitate relocation of double pole structure, which was in precarious state caused by landslide due to incessant rain.
The department informed that power supply would be disrupted in secretariat area, Lower Bayavü, Khikha-Rüleizou, Merema and Thizama.
