IMD predicts heavy rain across NE region

DIMAPUR, JUN 29 (NPN)

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated very heavy rainfall across the North Eastern region in the coming days.
According to IMD, isolated very heavy showers are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from July 2 to July 5. In addition, heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is also expected at isolated places across the region, including Nagaland, on June 30.
