IIMTT Kohima centre launched

The Kohima centre of the International Institute of Montessori Teacher Training (IIMTT) was formally launched on June 28 at a programme held at Joyance Pre-School, Razhu Point, Kohima.
According to a press release, CEO of The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA), Neichute Doulo, who attended the programme as guest of honour, said development should not be left to the government alone, and that every citizen has a role to play. He observed that while entrepreneurship is nurtured in many parts of the country, in Nagaland it is often seen as a last option.
DPRO Wokha, Lolano Patton, also a guest of honour, congratulated Chanda and her team and expressed hope that the institute would bring positive change in the education sector.
In her remarks, Chanda Sahi stated that IIMTT was one of India’s leading institutes for Montessori teacher training, with centres across India and abroad. She said the Kohima centre aims to inspire and prepare Montessori educators with the right skills and mindset.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Athe Rhi. The dedicatory prayer was offered by Pastor Mhonchumo S. Lotha (KLBC), a special number was presented by Pezet Newme, vote of thanks delivered by Jonathan Kikon, and benediction pronounced by Worship Director, FHC, Khalong Aier.
