The Lions and Leo Club of Dimapur held its annual Installation Ceremony on June 28 at the Lions Club, Dimapur, to formally induct new office bearers for the Lionistic year 2025–26.
The programme was graced by Past District Governor (PDG) Lion M. Gojendra Singh as the installation officer. In his speech, Singh encouraged greater participation from youth and support from senior members to expand community service. He also called for efforts to help grow the Lions movement globally.
Reports were presented by both clubs, and speeches were delivered by Leo President Sanyam Paharia and outgoing Lions President Ankit Jain. Lion Dr. Arihant Jain introduced the installation officer.
Awards were presented to members for their service, followed by the formal swearing-in of the new board.
New Lions Club President, Lion Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, spoke on embracing change and deepening impact through service. Leo President Vishal Pareek, now serving a second term, highlighted plans for youth-led service and innovation.
The event began with an invocation by Lion Selendra Kumar Ajmera and flag salutation by Lion CA Rahul Jain. Chairperson Lion Basu Damani delivered the welcome address, followed by a vote of thanks from Lion Sumit Jain Bagra. The programme concluded with the national anthem and fellowship dinner.
