A surgical laparoscopic set with trolley and an advanced ultrasound machine was inaugurated at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Mangkolemba, Mokokchung, on June 27.
According to a DIPR report, the medical equipment was donated by the Luyong Tribal Welfare Society to boost healthcare services in the area.
Advisor of Transport and Technical Education, Temjenmenba, graced the inauguration, which was also attended by ADC Mangkolemba, Moakumzuk Tzudir, healthcare workers, and community members.
Speaking at the programme, Temjenmenba stressed the importance of partnerships between the government and community organisations in improving public health infrastructure.
With the new equipment, CHC Mangkolemba is expected to enhance its diagnostic and surgical services, contributing to better patient care.
