Friends on Wheels installs water filter at Zakiesato HSS

Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club, a Nagaland-based non-profit group of bike enthusiasts, installed a new water filter and cooler system at Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, to ensure students have access to clean, safe, and chilled drinking water.
The programme, held under the theme “A Step toward Clean, Safe & Chilled Drinking Water,” was part of the club’s wider efforts to promote student well-being.
Club president Abhijeet Bharadwaj shared that the initiative reflects the group’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure. He also highlighted the club’s recent achievement of facilitating school admissions for 43 underprivileged children this year.
The event featured a speech from Bharadwaj and appreciation remarks by school principal Sajal Kanti Nath. It was chaired by Animesh Sutradhar, with an invocation by co-ordinator Joyson Shimray, a closing prayer by Romio, and a vote of thanks by administrator B.P. Sharma.
