The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has informed that the final selection trial for the Kohima district football team will be conducted on July 8 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. The trial will begin at 9:00 a.m.
According to KDFA officials, a total of 33 players had been shortlisted during the preliminary trials held on June 16. The upcoming session will determine the final squad that will represent Kohima district in the 24th edition of the Dr. T Ao Trophy Inter-District Football Championship 2025, scheduled to take place from August 1 to 15. The association has directed all shortlisted players to report on time and come fully prepared for the final round of assessment, which will play a decisive role in the team’s formation.
The KDFA further reiterated its commitment to selecting the best talent from the district to ensure a competitive showing at the prestigious state-level tournament.
