Assam Rifles organized a career guidance session for 26 NCC cadets from St Xavier College, Jalukie, including 12 female cadets, to help them prepare for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam and NCC ‘C’ Certificate Special Entry Scheme for officer induction into the Indian Army. According to Assam Rifles source, during the session, officers shared tips on exam structure, time management and preparation strategies. Personalized advice was given to help cadets understand their strengths and improve in key areas. The one-on-one interaction allowed cadets to ask questions and receive practical guidance from experienced mentors. The initiative left cadets motivated and better prepared for future challenges, instilling a sense of purpose and dedication to serve the nation. Participants thanked Assam Rifles for the support and mentorship.
