The Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) has announced that it will organize the inter-school table tennis tournament on July 25 and 26, 2025 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis stadium.
A press release by KDTTA general secretary Vincent Belho stated that the competition will be based on Team events for boys and girls only of Class 10 and below. Each team can comprise of 4 players for boys’ and girls’ team respectively and minimum of 2 players. Game will be played on 2 singles and 1 doubles system.

The release stated that the summer coaching camp organized earlier for students of Class 10 and below from June 24 to July 5, 2025 witnessed an overwhelming registration of 115 Table tennis enthusiasts and much positive response and support from parents and guardians including schools.
The release further stated that the tournament is expected to be a hard battle amongst the young table tennis fans for the coveted title of Kohima District Inter-School Champion 2025. All are invited to come and witness the bright-eyed budding stars spin to win in their display of skills and performance during the championship, the release added.
