DIMAPUR

A 30-member delegation from the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), led by its president Rev. Achu Chang, attended the 23rd Baptist World Congress held in Brisbane, Australia.
Representatives from 134 countries participated under the theme “Living the Good News.” The Congress was hosted by the Australian Baptist Union, a member of the Asian Pacific Baptist Federation. NBCC members led key sessions during the event. Dr. Kethoser Kevichüsa delivered a plenary talk on “Living the Good News in the Power of the Holy Spirit,” while Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho led a Bible study session titled “Living the Good News as Disruptable Disciples.”
A highlight of the Congress was the presentation of the Quinquennial Human Rights Award to Mrs. Sano Vamuzo for her outstanding contributions to society. NBCC’s Chele singers also performed during the cultural showcase, sharing Naga music and traditions with the global Baptist community.
Delegates described the Congress as a humbling and inspiring experience, reinforcing the call for Nagas to serve beyond borders and spread the message of hope and faith worldwide.
