Notice over nuisance at New Minister’s Hill Kohima view point

In a decisive effort to restore public order and community safety, the New Minister’s Hill Youth Organisation (NMHYO) have issued a stern public advisory against prolonged disturbances occurring in the view point area of New Minister’s Hill Colony, Kohima.
In a press release issued by NMHYO informed that the locality has faced persistent challenges for over a decade, including alcohol consumption, loitering and immoral activities carried out by unidentified individuals. Despite multiple warnings and press releases over the years, these problems remain unabated, prompting renewed concern among residents.
The authorities have now strictly prohibited the consumption of alcohol, loitering and any form of immoral behavior in and around the view point vicinity. Individuals found consuming or possessing alcohol in public spaces within the designated area will face an immediate spot fine of Rs. 10,000.
To enforce these measures, CCTV surveillance has been installed throughout the area. Violators will not only be penalized but also publicly named through media channels. In serious instances, vehicles involved may be impounded.
The action is being taken to ensure peace, safety, and cleanliness in the neighborhood. The Panchayat and Youth Organisation have called upon the general public to cooperate fully in upholding the initiative and promoting responsible community living.
