The All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) discussed various challenges faced by teachers’ groups and assured efforts to address their concerns during its coordination meeting held on July 16 at the Morung Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima.
The meeting was attended by representatives from multiple teacher groups across the state, reflecting ANSTA’s continued commitment to the teaching profession and the pursuit of quality education.
Discussions focused on strategies to strengthen the education system and foster a positive environment for change. Reports were presented by representatives of the All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG), All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA), All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), ANHTU-CSS, Nagaland RMSA Teachers’ Association 2016 (NRMSATA 2016), All Nagaland Education (T-PIMS) Employees’ Group, RMSA 111 Graduate Teachers 2016, SSA 2013 Backlog (Maths & Science), All Nagaland Drawing Teachers’ Group, All Nagaland Graduate Teachers’ Forum (ANGTF), and Vishesh Gyaan Hindi Teachers.
ANSTA appreciated the active participation of all groups and encouraged continued collaboration with a shared mission to enhance educational standards across Nagaland.
ANSTA president, Kasheto Sumi, delivered the presidential address, while general secretary Pekinto Y. Jimo presented the keynote address. Treasurer Chubatemjen also spoke at the meeting, which was chaired by vice president Kezhalezo Solo. The program concluded with a discussion hour.
