Philosophy department of Salesian College of Higher Education observed Indian Philosophers’ Day by organizing a one-day seminar on the topic “Jiddu Krishnamurti: Relationship without Dependence” on July 17.
The seminar was sponsored by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research.
According to a press release, Dr. Dominic Meyieho from St. Joseph’s College (A), Jakhama, delivered a lecture highlighting Krishnamurti’s views on inner freedom and rejection of psychological authority.
He explained that “relationship without dependence” means letting go of attachments, memories, and past relationships.
The seminar aimed to explore Krishnamurti’s ideas on human relationships, freedom, and psychological dependence.
Reflective sessions were held to encourage participants to rethink conventional beliefs about attachment and identity.
