Official pays surprise visit to KV Kohima

DIMAPUR

Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Tinsukia Division, T. Pritam paid a surprise visit to Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Kohima on July 15. He was warmly received by students and Principal-in-charge, Umesh Chandra.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various departments and interacted with staff and students. A key discussion was held with BMC Chairman, Rajesh Kumar (DIG, CRPF Camp Larry Hills), focusing on urgent infrastructure needs including repair of the temporary school building, construction of a school road, and allocation of land for a permanent facility.
The chairman assured that steps would be taken to address the issues and provide land for a permanent school building at the earliest. The visit highlighted the need for improved facilities and support for KV Kohima.
