Ashoka University promotes liberal arts in Mkg

Ashoka University is conducting awareness sessions in Mokokchung to introduce liberal arts education to students of Class 11 and 12.
Led by Imnajungla Jamir, Territory Manager (Northeast), the sessions were held at Mayangnokcha Higher Secondary School, Jubilee Memorial School, N.I Jamir Higher Secondary School and Senayangba Higher Secondary School.
According to Imnajungla, liberal education helps students build skills in critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving. She added that it strengthens civil service aspirations while opening pathways to other careers. Ashoka University, based in Sonipat, Haryana, is India’s largest philanthropic university offering interdisciplinary liberal arts programmes. Full scholarships are also available for eligible students.
