Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pfutsero, Mhalo Humtsoe, has ordered temporary ban on slaughter and sale of pigs (both live and slaughter) from outside with immediate effect till further notice.
The ban was imposed following reports of death of pigs due to unknown disease in the villages adjacent to Pfutsero town and other surrounding sub-division.
ADC cautioned that the town council would take its own course of action against those who violate the order.
