Power shutdown in Mon district

DIMAPUR JUL 25 (NPN)

Power department has informed that there would be total shutdown of power in Mon district from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily starting July 28, to August 2 in view of the scheduled vegetation clearance of 66kV transmission lines under transmission division Mokokchung.
The department stated that the proposed exercise was being necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply.
The department has, therefore, appealed to the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
