Governor, CM extend Naknyulum greetings

DIMAPUR, JUL 30 (NPN): Nagaland governor La Ganesan and chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the members of the Chang community on the occasion of Naknyulum festival.
In his message, Ganesan said Naknyulum, which is celebrated with deep cultural and spiritual significance, symbolized the triumph of light over darkness and the spirit of unity, peace and prosperity. He said it was a time to honour age old traditions, strengthen bonds within the community and seek blessings for a harmonious future. “As we come together to celebrate this vibrant festival, may it inspire us to preserve our rich heritage and promote mutual respect among all communities,” the governor said and wished everyone a joyful and meaningful Naknyulum celebration.
In a social media post, Dr. Rio described Naknyulüm as a festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. The chief minister prayed that the celebration bring blessings of good health & strengthen unity & goodwill among all.
Rajya Sabha MP: Lone Rajya Sabha MP from Nagaland, Phangnon Konyak, has also extended greetings to the Chang community on the occasion of Naknyulüm festival.
In a message, Phangnon Konyak wished that the festival would continue to promote peace, unity and the triumph of light over darkness. She further prayed for God’s blessings and the well-being of all celebrating the festival.
