Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), S. Phangnon Konyak, and deputy chief minister Y. Patton have extended greetings to the Khiamniungan community on the occasion of Biam Festival.
In her message, Phangnon Konyak conveyed heartfelt wishes, stating that the festival continues to embody the spirit of togetherness, unity, peace, reconciliation, and thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest. “May God bless the Khiamniungan people with harmony and prosperity,” she added.
Y. Patton also conveyed his greetings, expressing happiness over the community’s celebration of Biam in unity. He wished that the festivities usher in peace and prosperity, and on behalf of the BJP legislators, extended best wishes for a joyous and memorable celebration.
