Power disruption in three districts

Power department has informed that due to collapse of 66kV transmission tower at Yisemyong area under Mokokchung on August 8, 2025, power supply to Tuli sub-division, Longleng and Mon has been disrupted.
In a press release, transmission division Mokokchung executive engineer informed that the incident occurred at around 5am and the fault was located in the evening at around 4pm after intensive line patrolling. The department said collapse of the transmission tower was due to massive landslides.
Informing that all possible arrangements were being made to take stock of the situation, the department has, therefore, urged the consumers in Tuli sub-division, Longleng and Mon district to bear with the inconvenience.
