Unidentified body recovered from Zubza River

An unidentified male body was recovered from the Zubza river near Zhekishe village on Wednesday, prompting police to initiate an investigation into the suspected case of murder.
According to Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur, a police team from Niuland Police Station rushed to the scene upon receiving information and conducted an inquest over the body. Preliminary findings suggest foul play may be involved, though the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
Following completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
