Road closure onLosami–Phek route

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, has informed that all traffic movement along Package-III of the Pfutsero–Phek 2-lane road between Losami and Phek village will remain completely restricted from August 9, due to persistent landslides and rockfalls.
According to the DC, clearance and maintenance works are being carried out by the concerned authorities, and movement will resume only after the road is declared safe for commuters.
During the restriction period, commuters have been advised to take the following alternate routes: Pfutsero–Porba–Sakraba–Pholami–Khomi–Losami–Losatephe–Lanezho and Zero Point–Chetheba Town–Runguzu Nasa–Runguzu–Thuvopisu–Surhoba–Phek Town–Lanezho
The construction company, Madhucon Projects Limited, has been directed to ensure that the road is cleared for vehicular movement at the earliest.
