Inter-dept badminton tourney concludes

The 2-day long 5th Inter-departmental Badminton Tournament concluded on Saturday at the Multi- Purpose Hall, NLA, Kohima.
Special Guest B.Henok Buchem, deputy commissioner of Kohima, in his speech, acknowledged and appreciated the Inter- Department Badminton Club (IDBC) for organizing the 5th edition of the Inter-departmental Badminton Tournament 2025 and bringing together players from various government departments.
He stated that such tournament for govt officials is important to improve inter- departmental coordination, collaborative effort in serving the state towards shared goals.
While witnessing the final matches, he commented that participants exhibited team spirit, resilience and congratulated all the winners.
Kelhikha Kenye, Deputy Mission Director Samagra Shiksha & Member IDBC proposed vote of thanks.
62 teams representing 24 departments participated in the 2025 edition.
