NABA elects new office bearers

DIMAPUR, AUG 9 (NPN)

The Nagaland Amateur Boxing Association (NABA) successfully conducted its election of office bearers for the tenure 2025 to 2029 on August 9, 2025 at the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) Office, Kohima at 10:00 am.
A press release by the NOA media team stated the election officials for the election were: Hemanta Kumar Kalita, Observer, Boxing Federation of India; Azhato Nyekha, Observer, Youth Resources and Sports; Neiyalie Angami, Returning Officer & Treasurer NOA; and Neivikuolie Khatsu, Presiding Officer & Asst. Secretary General, NOA
The release by NOA stated that the election was held in accordance with the constitution of NABA and the guidelines of the Boxing Federation of India.
Representatives from affiliated district boxing associations participated in election process. The election was held in free, fair and transparent manner and the results were declared by the Returning officers at 3:00 pm.


The Nagaland Olympic Association further congratulated the new office bearers.
