NPA’s Kohima Pickleball Open Tournament from Aug 16

DIMAPUR, AUG 11 (NPN)

The Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA), in collaboration with Pickopadel, has officially announced the Kohima Open Tournament 2025, scheduled to take place on August 16–17 at the Akim Sports Centre, Kohima. The event will feature Men’s Doubles (Open) and Mixed Doubles (Open) categories, with a total prize pool of ₹50,000.
This state-closed tournament marks a significant milestone in NPA’s ongoing efforts to promote and develop pickleball across Nagaland. The Akim Sports Centre, located at an altitude of 4,800 feet, has been recognized as the highest pickleball court in India, adding a unique distinction to the upcoming competition.
Organized in partnership with the Indian Pickleball Association and Pickopadel, the Kohima Open Tournament 2025 is expected to attract top talent from across the state. The NPA has emphasized its commitment to providing an exceptional competitive environment, aiming to elevate the standard of play and foster community engagement through the sport.
