Orientation meeting on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in Zunheboto

An orientation meeting on the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a flagship initiative under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India, was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto, on August 12.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Dharam Raj, who welcomed representatives from various line departments for their prompt participation. In his opening remarks, the DC briefed the house on the objectives of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, describing it as a transformative programme aimed at empowering grassroots governance, enhancing last-mile service delivery, and ensuring real-time grievance redressal in tribal areas.
He emphasized the importance of localized and context-specific solutions through inter-departmental convergence, and called for responsive and inclusive policy design tailored to tribal communities. The DC also highlighted the role of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in strengthening participatory learning and contextual implementation. In this regard, the nominated NGO, Green Club Zunheboto, was encouraged to prepare for timely and transformative interventions once roles and responsibilities are assigned.
Members present actively participated in the discussion and agreed that further directives from MoTA will be communicated to all departments through the Nodal Officer, Zunheboto.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
