In commemoration of the upcoming 79th Independence Day, HQ CE Project Sewak, in collaboration with the Blood Centre, District Hospital Dimapur (DHD), organised a voluntary blood donation camp on Tuesday at the Central MI Room, Project Sewak.
The camp witnessed active participation from eight officers, 27 subordinates, and three CPLs who came forward to donate blood.
Chief Engineer, Project Sewak, Brig PK Oberoi, and Medical Officer In-Charge, Blood Centre DHD, Dr Rogsenmar Lkr, along with other officials, attended the programme.
During the interaction with donors, dignitaries highlighted the significance of voluntary blood donation in addressing critical shortages and fostering community solidarity.
Organisers stated that the initiative not only contributed to saving lives but also reflected the spirit of unity, responsibility, and service—values deeply associated with the celebration of Independence Day.
