NTPRADAO slams NDPP Youth leader over IMFL arrest

Nagaland Transparency Public Rights Advocacy & Direct Action Organization (NTPRADAO) has strongly condemned the alleged involvement of NDPP Youth leader Enoch S Wotsa in smuggling Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), following his arrest in Khatkhati, Assam on August 13, 2025.
In a press release Media Cell of NTPRADAO stated that Wotsa, was apprehended along with associates for allegedly transporting crates of IMFL.
The organization expressed deep concern over the incident, terming it a serious breach of public trust and moral conduct.
NTPRADAO lauded the Central Youth Organization of NDPP and the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) for publicly condemning the act and upholding ethical standards. “Regardless of status, no individual should be shielded from the consequences of criminal activity,” the statement read.
The organization further demanded the immediate suspension of Enoch S Wotsa from his position as Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Councillor, asserting that it would not remain a silent spectator. It called upon law enforcement agencies to ensure strict action against all involved, emphasizing that justice must be equal and impartial for all citizens of Nagaland.
