This was the how the Burman king and his followers take settlement in our Zeme pre inhabited during our fore – father time. Orally history known by our Zeme people were that when the Burman king and his followers came to Manipur, the Manipur king refused to accept them to take settlement in their land. Therefore the Burman king and his followers approached to Tousem villagers to accept them to settle in their land, but the Tousem villagers also refused to accept them to settle in the land.
So, the Burman king and his followers proceed to namely Kurei who is the village chief and land owner of Peren village and appealed to him to accept to them as the adopted sons. When they appealed the Peren village chief and landlord he emphasized them to abandon their Burman traditional and religion and accept the Naga customs traditional festivals and religion rites and settle at least three years and can migrate to other places.
To these the Burman king and his followers agreed and accepted and settled in the Naga village but because of different race and language the village chief and landlord namely Kurei of Peren village gave order to sift and settle at Temaki kam or Temaki valley. And on this river valley they named themselves son of river or water which originated from Temaki river and after their derived of their race namely Dimasa which means sons of water they asked to a village chief namely Kuda because the second group who take care of animals like elephant and horses who came again to their place Temaki valley was to small to accommodated man and animals. When they sifted to Kuda village they themselves started quarrelling between former settled and animal care takers.
After some days the quarrelling started between the Ahom king and Dimasa king as the result of their quarrelling they came to Takluaram a Zeme village which called in their language Maibang or Takluaram means abundant rice of both meanings.
This the way and the how they were adopted sons and settled in the Zeme land possibly during those days of 15th Century. (A.D. 1536 years).
