In another heroin seizure, the ANTF and East Jaintia Hills district police seized nine soap boxes containing 91.86 grams of heroin from a notorious inter-state drug supplier, Isak L. Joute.
Based on reliable intelligence input about Joute’s travel plans to smuggle in heroin to Shillong, Kumar said the ANTF along with East Jaintia Hills district police set up a checkpoint at Byndihati village.
He said the ANTF sleuths intercepted a passenger bus bearing registration number
