Wotsa Fine Arts College (WFAC) commemorated a significant milestone with a special programme titled “Prayer of Gratitude” held on August 16, marking its official affiliation to Nagaland University.
The event, chaired by Livi Achumi, included a series of prayers, scripture readings, speeches and a special presentation that traced the college’s journey and its guiding vision of “Crafting Aesthetic Goals.” The programme reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing creativity and excellence in the field of fine arts.
Among the key speakers were District Education Officer (DEO) Dimapur, David Zhimomi and Director of WFAC, Hekuto Wotsa. Both speakers underscored the importance of perseverance, faith and the transformative power of fine arts in shaping holistic education. They also acknowledged the collective efforts that led to the college’s affiliation with Nagaland University.
The event brought together educators, community leaders and well-wishers. It concluded with expressions of heartfelt gratitude and a renewed pledge to uphold the college’s mission as it embarks on a new chapter under the university’s academic framework.
