Nagaland made its debut at the prestigious 64th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025, Junior Girls (U-17) category in Delhi on Wednesday but went down 0–3 against Haryana in their opening encounter. Despite putting up a spirited fight, the debutants from Nagaland were unable to find the net, while their opponents capitalised on opportunities to secure a comfortable win. The result marked a tough start for the team, which is competing in the tournament for the first time. Nagaland will look to bounce back when they face CISCE in their second group match scheduled for today at 4:30 p.m. The team will play its final league match against NVS on Friday, also at 4:30 p.m.
