Lüshe FC clinches 1st CCSA Open Football Tourney title

DIMAPUR, AUG 22 (NPN)

Lüshe FC Phola emerged victorious in the 1st edition of the Centre Chakhesang Sports’ Association (CCSA) Open Football Tournament, held at Pfutsero Sports Complex under Phek district. The tournament, officially registered under the Football Association Phek District, concluded with Lüshe FC claiming the champion’s title and a cash prize of Rs. 1.20 lakh.
Highlanders FC Pfutsero finished as runners-up, receiving Rs. 70,000, while Knight Riders FC and Chizami United FC, the losing semi-finalists, were awarded Rs. 10,000 each.
The closing ceremony was graced by chairman of Pfutsero Town Council, Mikha Kenye. The programme was chaired by CCSA advisor Thüvoswüyi Lohe, with a welcome address delivered by CCSA vice president Veduta Dzüdo. The vote of thanks was proposed by CCSA advisor Nükhosa Khesoh.
Event partners included Apex Motors Enterprise and Vuto Hyundai, who supported the successful conduct of the tournament.
Individual Awards: Golden Boot -Eneibe Thopi (Chizami United FC); Golden Ball – Vebizo Tetseo (Highlanders FC); and Golden Glove – Nutso Lohe (Lüshe FC).
