NPP inducts Dimapur District Youth Front office bearers

DIMAPUR

National People’s Party (NPP) held a formal induction programme on August 23 at the NPP State Headquarters, Dimapur, to induct the newly appointed office bearers of the Dimapur District Youth Front (NPYF). The team was felicitated by State president of NPP Nagaland, A. Nyamnyei Konyak.
According to a press release issued by the NPP media and communication cell, Nyamnyei, while addressing party members, expressed satisfaction over the steady growth of NPP in Nagaland. “NPP is rising as a people’s alternative. We must carry the vision of the party to the grassroots because NPP is truly the people’s party – one united voice of the North East,” he stated.
NPYF Dimapur District president, Zato Sumi, in his first address, reaffirmed the team’s commitment to building the party at the grassroots level and pledged to work with unity and dedication for the people of Dimapur.
NPYF Nagaland State president, Yangba Imchen, welcomed the district team and encouraged them to be torchbearers of change and growth for the party in Dimapur.
NPP State vice president, K. James Vizo, reminded that the party’s foundation rests on Christian values and called upon leaders to serve with compassion while upholding the constitution and discipline of the party.
The newly inducted Dimapur District NPYF team includes: Zato Sumi – president; Watilemjen and Dr. David Suonruo – vice presidents; Inato Chisho – general secretary (Organisation) and others.
The programme was chaired by NPP general secretary (Administration), T. Chuba Jamir. Invocation was pronounced by NPP State secretary, Khehoshe Sumi, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Yesufi Snock, State Working president of NPP Women’s Front Nagaland.
