NRMSATA stir impacting 9 GHSs in Tsg: CWS

DIMAPUR, AUG 30 (NPN)

Chang Students’ Conference (CWS) has informed that ongoing agitation by NRMSATA 2016 Batch was impacting nine government high schools within Tuensang.
CWS through its media cell asserted that the negligence of the government to address the genuine demand of NRMSATA has impacted the quality education of the students, their academic growth and overall wellbeing of the students.
The conference alleged that failure on the part of the government not only deprived the teachers of their dues, but also sent a discouraging message, undermining their morale and dedication.
Describing as “legitimate” the demand of the RMSA teachers, the CWS reminded that Gauhati High Court division bench order dated March 16, 2022 ruled in favour of RMSA teachers and was subsequently upheld by Supreme Court on May, 20, 2025.
CWS has, therefore, appealed to the state government to address the matter with utmost seriousness and urgency. CWS underscored that the tireless efforts, dedication and sacrifices of RMSA teachers should be duly acknowledged and rewarded. It stated that court directive must be enforced and justice must be delivered without further delay.
Nine schools within Tuensang where RMSA teachers have been deployed include GHS Yangpi, GHS Ngoungchung, GHS Hakchang, GHS Sangsangnyu, GHS Chaba, GHSS Hakushang, GHS Chingmelen, GHS Konya and GHS Phangsang.
