The ICFAI University Nagaland (IUN) celebrated the ‘National Sports Day’ on August 29 by conducting a variety of Sports competitions including Chess, Badminton and Carrom.
A press release by the registrar of the University, R Bhuyan stated that The program was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Indian hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand and to make the students aware and understand the importance of sports for development of physical health, social values and team spirit.
