DMC employees to resume agitation

DIMAPUR, AUG 31 (NPN)

Dimapur Municipal Council Employees’ Welfare Union (DMCEWU) has announced resumption of its agitation from September 2, citing non-fulfilment of the written assurance given by the DMC authority on August 4, 2025.
In a letter to the chief executive officer, the union said it had carefully considered the matter and reached a unanimous decision to continue with its earlier resolution adopted on July 24, 2025. Accordingly, DMCEWU informed that it would commence agitation from September 2, which would include cessation of all tools and machinery operation.
